The HP StorageWorks MSL2024 Tape Library provides a capacity of up to 38.4TB (2:1 compression) and extensive tape library features in a compact 2U form factor. Automate your backup with a tape library that provides up to 153.6TB of compressed capacity, tool-free performance upgrades, easy-to-use remote management and a broad range of LTO Ultrium tape drives. Provide centralized backup in a single automated device, freeing valuable IT resources for more strategic work. These libraries are ideal for medium to large IT networks experiencing uncertain data growth, with or without a storage area network (SAN)

Investment protection for performance needs: Upgradeable from one to two LTO-4 Ultrium 1760, LTO-3 Ultrium 920 or LTO-2 Ultrium 448 Tape drives through the addition of a second drive of that type.
Multiple interface choices available: SCSI, SAS and FC interfaces provide options for installing the tape library into a SCSI, SAS or SAN environment.
Easy-to-enable AES 256-bit embedded hardware encryption with compression: Provides highest level of encryption security, with compression, for strong backup data privacy to secure confidential information and address compliance quickly. Encryption key management support via HP Data Protector software and other ISV backup applications.
