Equally at home in a data-center rack or on a desk next to the office server, the 1/8 Tape Autoloader in a 2U form factor is equipped with either an Ultrium 960, Ultrium 448, SDLT 320 or Ultrium 232tape drive and can hold up to eight cartridges. The autoloader can be used in either a direct-attached backup to a single server or across the LAN. The autoloader is an ideal consolidated backup solution for multiple servers where high throughput and high capacity are required. The box contains the autoloader, power cord, SCSI cable, LVD SCSI terminator, installation guide, and product manual. All models come with HP StorageWorks Data Protector Express, Single Server Edition for Windows/Linux/NetWare and HP OpenView Storage Data Protector, Single Server Edition for Windows. At an affordable price, the 1/8 Tape Autoloader is a complete solution in the box. An optional accessory kit is available for rack-mounting the unit.
